"…few authors match the storytelling skill of Muireall Donald, who makes readers believe they are there." Harriet Klausner, Affaire de Coeur Magazine

Muireall Donald is the author of Skara Brae: A Tale of Two Sisters, a Scottish historical fantasy that is based on an ancient folk ballad and set in a Neolithic village of the Orkney Islands. Muireall’s first novel, Glencoe, A Romance of Scotland, an historical novel set in the aftermath of the infamous seventeenth century Highland massacre received accolades from both readers and reviewers.

In addition to her work as a novelist, Muireall is a storyteller of tales both traditional and new. Her stories are based on the histories and re-collected lore of her Scottish and Welsh ancestors who emigrated to America long before the founding of the United States. She has performed in public schools, before church groups and at Celtic festivals.

The author and her husband reside on the Alabama Gulf Coast with their two daughters, seven cats and three dogs. She is a member of Southern Order of Storytellers, The Horror Writers of America, Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids, and the Magical Artists Guild, Etc (MAGE).
