Song of the White Swan

by

Aleta Boudreaux

The inspiration for this novel began when I discovered the similarities in the Ancient Druid and the Native American traditions, both  in ceremony and customs.

The Druids call upon Mother Moon, the Great Goddess and the Ancient Ones.

The Micmac called upon Mother Moon and Grandfather Sun  for strength and guidance.   They believe Great Power, Kij Kinap, to be the Creator and protector of all life.

Both traditions honor nature, believe in magic and the power to heal the spirit as well as the body.

The Micmac Shamans and the Druid Priests & Priestesses were the spiritual heads of their peoples. They were the healers and magicians, using herbs and magic in service to their path.

What would happen if the two cultures met?
