Muireall
Donald is the author of Glencoe, A Romance of Scotland, as
well as several other novels that are forthcoming from Laughing Owl Publishing, Inc.
Muireall is descended from the Campbells of Argyll through her paternal grandmother. With her husband, Muireall holds membership in Clan Donald USA. She is a student of Highland folklore and legend.
She is a devotee of all things Celtic, and enjoys tramping through ancestral lands and researching ancient feuds.
Muireall is a native of southern Alabama, mother of two daughters, and currently lives in an artists’ sanctuary with her husband, three dogs, and nine cats in a secluded area on the Gulf Coast.
Skara Brae is an historical fantasy based on an old Scottish folk ballad and set in the Orkney Islands. It is available from Laughing Owl in E-book format.
She is currently putting together a collection of Celtic fairy tales tentatively titled: Faery Tales collected by Muireall Donald.
